Opioid Users with a History of Cocaine Use Invited for Research Study - Lexington/University of Kentucky




Researchers at the University of Kentucky are looking for people who use opioids for non-medical reasons and currently use or have a history of using cocaine to participate in a brain-imaging research study. Participation will require a 2-week stay in the hospital. Eligible volunteers will be paid for their time. You may be eligible if you: • Are between ages 18-55; • Have NO major medical problems; • Use opioids daily or near-daily; • Currently use or previously used cocaine; • Are not currently taking Methadone or Suboxone; and • Do not currently want to stop using opioids.
