A little about me. I was born in 1953 and my dad owned Rancho Jeep Supply (later it became Rancho Suspension). My dad taught me a lot about business from a very young age. One time when I was 7 years old my dad came home and asked for my help in a business decision. I listened to what he said and told him what I thought and he said it was good advice. I did not realize until years later it was my dad teaching me about business not which way I advised him. He also told me that selling items was a lot like raising pigs on a farm. Pigs get fat and hogs get slaughtered, and in selling items if you only take a small profit you can gain a customer for along time, but if you try to get a big profit you may lose the customer for along time. I asked him how will I know if I am a good salesperson. He told me a great salesperson can sell ice to Eskimos (I never tried to do this) but an excellent salesperson will learn all they can about what they are selling, will answer honestly questions they receive, will treat the customer how they would want to be treated and remember it is not about a single sale but about gaining a customer and hopefully a friend for years to come. Lets talk warranty., Any product you buy for your business should have an excellent warranty. I see many in the industry offering lousy warranty, such as parts only no labor or short time frame. Let me be clear if a manufacture will not stand behind their product with an excellent warranty you should not buy that product. Dukers backs their products with one of the best warranties in the industry. The warranty on Dukers stainless steel refrigerators is 3 years parts and labor, 5 year compressor warranty which is very good (most manufacturers offer 2 years or less on parts and labor). On chest freezers, black backbar and on black glass door merchandisers Dukers is 2 years parts and labor, 5 year compressor warranty (most manufacturers are 1 year on chest freezers). On Fryers Dukers offer 1-year parts and labor and 5 year against tank leaking. On rest of cooking equipment Dukers is 1-year parts and labor. Think about it, they are standing behind their product with an excellent warranty, this should give you peace of mind on their product. Dukers does have exceptions, they do not warranty for non-commercial use such as residential use, they have a limited 6 months parts and labor warranty for food trucks.
AGAIN BUY EQUIPMENT A MANUFACTURE WILL BACK WITH EXCELLENT WARRANTY
Lets talk used. Many sellers will sell you used equipment at a very high price that is old and you should not buy. If you find an item that is only a year or two old and at least 1/2 the price delivered as what I sell for, you may consider it, but do not pay a lot for used and only buy very late model units. If you have any questions on used text me pictures of unit with serial number and I will give you free advice on it
Lets talk new. Many, higher end manufactures make a very good product but many times it is 2 to 3 times as much as what I can sell you Dukers for.

A little about me In 1959 I learned to drive off-road at 6 years old. The 1st vehicle I drove was a military M29 Weasel (basically a tank with the top halve cutoff). My dad, Clarence Shook was an inventor. In the 1950's he took a World War II Jeep and put a big engine, big brakes, an overdrive, roll bar and made a fun vehicle basically the start of the SUV market that you see today. In early 1961 Clarence (my dad), Vic Hickey and 2 of his friends created the Trailblazer . This was 4 wheel independent suspension long travel suspension, disc brakes, rack and pinion steering, aluminum body, had 210 horsepower and weighed around 2,000 pounds (went off road like a bat out of H---) In 1964 they sold it to General Motors and in 1967 GMC came out with the Blazer (not at all like the Trailblazer). In 1972 my dad got very sick and I quit college, and with my brother, took over the family business. in the 1970's we designed and invented Rancho Suspension. Which grew to a worldwide business. You can Google GENE SHOOK RANCHO SUSPENSION if you want. In 1990 I sold the company to Tenneco (at the time the 25 largest company in the USA). I retired, I got bored, I bought and sold real estate, I had my own advertising agency, I owned my own commercial real estate brokerage company, I have reviewed over 1,000 commercial lease's, I built buildings (google Hermosa Pavilion 1601 Pacific Coast Hwy Hermosa Beach and I built Rancho buildings) , I owned small cafe, small bistro 40 seats, 220 seat high end restaurant (google BRIX@1601 HERMOSA BEACH, CA).
