Research Study for Healthy Volunteers 66 to 75 years old at PPD Austin Up to $4,500 for Healthy Adults Participant Qualifications • Overall Healthy Adults • Or older adults with the following conditions - Well-controlled high blood pressure maintained by a single medication - Well-controlled high cholesterol maintained by a single medication - Well-controlled non-insulin dependent type 2 diabetes maintained by metformin • 66 to 75 years old • Body Mass Index (BMI) of 18-35 kg/m2 • Smoking criteria: non-smoking/nicotine-containing products within 3 months of screening. • Health status is further evaluated by reviewing medical history, screening assessments, and visit with physician • Available and willing to commit to the study visit structure - You will be asked to stay in our clinic for 4 nights and return for 1 outpatient follow-up visit. Study Information • The purpose of the study is to assess the safety and tolerability of the study drug following single ascending oral doses in healthy adults. • The study drug is being developed as a potential treatment for age-related muscle weakness • This is a research study, and your participation is voluntary. You may stop participating at any time.
