📣🚀 LiftOff Learning - Frederick STEM Workshops for kids - FREE and ran by local high schoolers!
Hello everyone! I'm a local high school student wanting to give back to the community by running FREE STEM workshops for kids, called LiftOff Learning! The workshops will be fun, educational, and hands-on!
The workshops will be 100% free and available to children ages 8-12, ran by passionate local high schoolers. 5 days a week in the summer for an hour a day on varying weeks depending on the kind of workshop.
We will explore topics like aviation and airplanes, space and rockets, and lessons on learning to code from the beginning with Scratch. Kids will get to engage in hands-on activities, learn, and create their own projects!
