Hi! I'm Riley, a broke trombone performance major at NYU, home for the summer, and looking to work. I'm offering private lessons for beginner and intermediate players, especially those preparing for All-County or All-State auditions.
This is my first time formally offering lessons, but I bring serious performance experience and a strong background in mentoring and leadership. If you’re new to the instrument, want to improve technique, or need help preparing for auditions, I’m here for it!

• Performed the national anthem at the 2024 NCAA Division III Women’s Basketball Championship
• Experience performing across NYC in concert halls and on the street
• I also have perfect pitch and intuition for composing. This helps me catch tuning and rhythm issues quickly and focus on musicality and ensemble sonority. This is especially useful in orchestral excerpts!

Rates:
• $20 for 30 minutes
• $30 for 60 minutes

Note: I’m currently focused on beginner and intermediate students, not advanced players. I’m still refining aspects of my playing, but I provide a clear, supportive, and effective teaching experience.
