A bass players dream guitar. For sale is a used Ltd 4-String Bass in a satin Natural finish. Model: B4-E. Based on the serial number I believe this bass was made in 2017. Made in Indonesia which can be higher in quality than the Made in China ones. Its aesthetic appearance will steal your heart. Stand out from the crowd with the dark "exotic" Ebony wood top over a solid Mahogany body. Mahogany provides superiority in terms of sound, sturdiness and beauty. Ebony headstock, body and fretboard provides not only a nice, contrast to the rest of the guitar but further enhances the tone. Extra Thin "U" contour makes the 5-pc maple/mahogany neck play fast and smooth with unhindered fret access. Neck-through construction adds sustain and thump to your sound with the 5-pc neck construction resistant to twisting or warping over the years. While the body and headstock have a satin finish, the neck is gloss to allow for speedy palm travel. 24 frets, 34" scale length Weighs 9.5 LBS Equipped with ESP-designed passive SB-4 pickups, the B4E produces a powerful, punchy tone. The active EQ section offers a three-band EQ with control over bass, mid, and treble frequencies (powered by a 9 volt battery in the back) and pickup blend knob so you can blend between pickups, instead of just selecting one or the other. ESP tuners and a BB-604 bridge ensureg stable tuning and intonation. Neck is straight with lots of fret life left. Has small dings/nicks and some light scratches. Small chip in ebony top by controls. V shaped scratch on one side. Neck pickup name mostly wore off. Made between 2008-2020, and has been discontinued. Not a lot of these available for sale at a reasonable price. Would make a fine addition to any guitar collection.
