Pro-level guitarist here, new-ish to the Chicago area and looking to dive deeper into its music scene. I've played everything from local joints to festivals with crowds of 5k+ and am aiming for projects with a similar upward trajectory.
I'm all about expressive, improv-heavy music, and am very open-minded, stylistically:
Rock (alternative, indie, jam)
Funk, Soul, Jazz, Blues, Reggae
From me you'll get solid rhythm/lead guitar creativity, and in-tune backing vocals.
I'm open to originals and fresh takes on covers. My ideal bandmates are roughly in the 30-50 age range, but that's flexible. I've got pro gear, reliable wheels, and I'm ready to travel for gigs/rehearsals that make sense.
I'm seeking a genuine outlet for musical creativity with a committed band that truly puts the music first. I want to connect with players who love to jam, write together, and explore soundscapes. It’s all about the pocket, the collective groove, playing off each other, and really listening.
I'm not interested in playing with backing tracks or learning massive lists of common covers.
