Spokane CDL School is a respected Commercial Driving School committed to preparing students for successful careers in the transportation industry. We are currently seeking experienced and motivated CDL Instructors to lead evening classes. This position offers both full-time and part-time opportunities for individuals who are passionate about mentoring future commercial drivers. Position Overview: Instructors will be responsible for delivering both classroom instruction and behind-the-wheel training. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in commercial driving, excellent communication skills, and a desire to support student success. Key Responsibilities: Lead classroom instruction covering CDL-related curriculum and safety standards Provide practical, hands-on behind-the-wheel training Guide students through pre-trip inspections and vehicle operation procedures Monitor and evaluate student progress and provide feedback Prepare students for CDL knowledge and skills exams Qualifications: Valid CDL with applicable endorsements Minimum of 4 years of professional commercial driving experience Strong communication and instructional skills Ability to engage with students of diverse backgrounds and experience levels Previous teaching experience is a must Compensation: Starting at $25-$30/hr Schedule: Flexible part-time and full-time shifts available What We Offer: If you're ready to share your knowledge and experience to help others succeed in the transportation industry, we want to hear from you.
