Instrument Clusters in the Volvo D & E series Wheel Loaders have a common problem that causes them to intermittently malfunction. The instrument cluster may fail to function completely and may throw the vehicle into reduced function mode. This will cause a non-communication error or "reduced computer function" warning and the instrument cluster will not function intermittently at first, and the unit will eventually fail to function completely.
