Ask for Yadhi or Lupe. 💼 MAINTENANCE MECHANIC - $22-$25/HR. – SALEM OR All Star Labor and Staffing is now looking to hire a Maintenance Mechanic in the Salem area for a local warehouse. This role is responsible for the upkeep and repair of property and production equipment to ensure safe, clean, and efficient operations. A strong focus is placed on preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and compliance with safety and manufacturing standards. Key Responsibilities: Perform inspections, repairs, adjustments, and troubleshooting on production machinery. Fabricate, weld, and implement equipment improvements as needed. Maintain work areas and assist with sanitation of maintenance tools. Communicate scheduled repairs and report improvement opportunities. Collaborate with production and quality teams to support continuous operation. Use Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to log and manage tasks. Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety protocols. Essential Skills & Requirements: Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on proficiency in equipment maintenance. Good mathematical, written, and verbal communication skills. Capable of working independently and within cross-functional teams. Experience in food processing is preferred. Skilled in multitasking and managing work priorities effectively. Familiarity with general maintenance tools, computers, and testing equipment. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work off-shifts if required. Work Environment: Food Production Operates within a local manufacturing facility. Emphasis on health, safety, confidentiality, and corporate responsibility compliance. Team-oriented environment requiring coordination across departments.
