1991 Palomino TXL-FG

length (feet): 18

rv type: folding/popup trailer

Don't let the age fool you! This is a fantastic trailer that has hard walls and real glass windows like a travel trailer, but slide out bunks like a normal popup or hybrid, with the ability to store it in your garage. But first, the features: Single Axle Easy to tow! Tongue weight: 340 lbs (CAT ticket available, I could only upload 24 photos) Trailer weight: 2140 pounds (CAT ticket available, I could only upload 24 photos) 13 foot box, 18 feet overall Awning Dual propane tanks with newer regulator Ice chest built in Propane stove. Can be used where pictured, or mounted outside the trailer for outdoor cooking. 20+ gallons fresh water tanks 6 gallon water heater, propane powered -and/or- shore powered. No need to use your gas if camped where power is available! It's this Camco kit, installed early 2019: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0024ECCJW Electric pump, replaced in 2017. Sink with running water and drains to collection point outside. 5 gallon bucket and hose with valves for grey water collection. Rooftop AC for those really, really hot days. The start capacitor and run capacitor were replaced in 2024. AC includes the "optional heat" that I installed in 2019. It's great for taking the chill out of the early mornings without consuming your propane, and pretty good when the weather is chilly. Propane heater, when the AC's "optional heat" isn't enough to keep you warm. It's thermostat controlled, and will get the trailer VERY HOT if you want it to. Heads up: if it gets -too- warm the fan bearing will start to squeal. Portable Toilet for when you've just gotta go. Great for kids so you don't have to visit the vaults in the middle of the night. Lots and lots of storage space Includes some spare bulbs, basic tools, fresh water hoses, water container in case you need to fetch more while camped, etc. Newer axle (receipt available, I could only upload 24 photos). In lightweight trailers, the suspension is built into the axle itself (lookup "torsion axle"), so when the suspension stops working, you have to replace the whole axle. This means you also have newer electric brakes, because they're also built into the axle. Electric brakes. Newer Carlisle Load D tires, including the spare. (Receipt available, I could only upload 24 photos) Because the trailer is always stored inside, they're in fantastic condition, and I have no qualms about driving at freeway speeds with these. Electric tongue jack, with a long enough 7-pin connector cable to power it from your tow vehicle. The cable and junction box are newer with fresh, logical wiring. Newer LED running and tail lights. No battery to add to your tongue weight. Newer lift system (receipt available, I could only upload 24 photos). Because I've properly lubed the lift system every year, this cable shows no signs of rust or imminent failure. It'll pop up for years to come. Dinette can convert to bed, like they all do. This has been a wonderful trailer for my family and me, and frankly I'm sad to be letting it go, but the kids are getting bigger and no longer want to share a bed. I hope it can bring you and your family as much joy as it's given us. The trailer has been garage stored its entire life, and as you can see from all of the receipts (available, I could only upload 24 photos) and the descriptions above, it's been exceptionally well cared for; you're not getting a lemon. The canvas is in great condition, the windows all work and none of them are broken. All of the bed and gaucho (that's the front couch) and dinette fabric is in excellent condition. The formica in the galley is a bit loose from the moisture, and there is some wear and tear on the storage area countertops, but, hey, it's 34 years old and looks danged good despite these couple of blemishes. It's kind of a buyer's market right now, so I'll let it go for $2100. I guarantee that you won't find anything better for this price. Ready to camp - just load and go!
