Responsibilities: Design, build, review, and implement software solutions to optimize and scale the Rubrik platform. Duties include: developing software systems using computer science and software engineering principles; analyzing and optimizing expansive SQL queries; testing existing technology, including performance analysis, and troubleshooting customer issues in various component areas; implementing design solutions to problematic programming; integrating new features and updates to ensure optimal performance and continued scalability as the company grows; and other duties as assigned. Employee may be stationed anywhere in the continental United States but will report directly to Rubrik headquarters in Palo Alto, CA. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or closely related field (or foreign equivalent). Requirements: 3 months of experience in the job offered or related position. 3 months of experience working with: Java, Scala, C++, or similar Object-Oriented languages; 3 months of experience working with MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL, or similar data management systems; 3 months of experience architecting and developing scalable software; 3 months of experience working with client/server architectures and application architectures; and 3 months of experience working with codebases on cross-functional teams.
