Hi, my name is Shawn and I am a professional tutor. I have been in education for over 20 years, and I work with kids as well as adults to find and fix the learning difficulties that are holding them back.
I teach Math (basic counting up through Algebra II), English, Test Prep (P/SAT, P/ACT, ASVAB, etc.) and others. If there is different subject you need help with, feel free to call me.
What sets me apart from other tutors or teachers, is that I am used to handling the “tough” students, whether they have a disinterest in learning, a lack of motivation, or even foreign-language students who haven't been given a fair shot. I try to make the lessons fun and get kids interested in learning again.
Before I take on any student, I offer a free evaluation and consultation to ensure I can help you (or your child) and ensure our personalities are a good fit and to ensure I can genuinely help. Feel free to call or text me at 615-905-6406. I never check my phone when I am in a lesson, but will reply as soon as I am available.
I am available for in-person lessons in the Nashville area, and online lessons anywhere in the country.
