Land Surveyor Job Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday to Friday with possible weekends Benefits: 401(k) Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Life insurance Paid holidays Paid time off Responsibilities • Conduct land surveys and mapping at different job sites • Obtain, process, and analyze field survey data to determine property boundaries and topographic features • Collaborate with site supervisors, project managers and the client to provide accurate survey information • Apply knowledge of geometry, trigonometry and mathematics in survey calculations and mapping principles • Ensure compliance with local regulations and standards in all surveying activities • Maintain accurate records of field notes, survey data, and calculations • Search for previous survey markers or set out new markers • Operate surveying instruments • Enter the data from the surveying instruments into computers • Select, edit, and process images collected from databases to create new maps or to update existing maps Skills/Competencies • Strong understanding of surveying principles, regulations, and technology • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills • Strong communications skills and ability to work independently • Proficiency in using survey software and digital tools for document review and approvals • Experience with Auto Cad and/or Civil 3D Qualifications • State of Florida Professional Land Surveyor license • Desirable qualifications include at least _ years of relevant experience in the surveying industry • Valid Florida Drivers License APPLY ONLINE BY CLICKING ON THE LINK BELOW.
