Mason Bernard BD160TS
Selling this acoustic Mason Bernard guitar
Model is BD160/TS
I purchased it used and given the rarity of it there isn’t a lot of documentation around it. The history of it appears quite interesting. You can read about it at the following links or google the brand and model. (BD160 is the style; TS is the sunburst colour). In short, apparently it was during a time when BC Rich was purchasing designs in the 90s and the builder Mason Bernard decided to start building guitars again after selling his company to BC Rich. So this appears to be hand crafted by him. It also sounds like this is why it looks like BC Rich guitars around the same period.
There really isn’t much out there on this so please do read into it more yourself if interested in the history.

I’ve played electric since I was a kid; I bought this simply so I could bring it out with me.
I can say it has phenomenal sustain and volume.
It is older and does show its age. Couple dings on the neck (didn’t bother me when playing) and a few in the body in the back side.
The binding (white border) on the top of the neck is cracking but still smooth. The lower binder was replaced. Since the binding yellows with time the replaced binding is brighter in colour.
If you want an acoustic guitar that has some history behind it, and plays above its price this could be the one for you.
