This means it won't get any firmware updates, however the system is still working for me. This system is not easy to setup, but if you're tech savvy you can figure it out. The IP cameras work fine on their own, but I used this as a security system since 2016 to record 24/7, with local and remote live feeds. The light sensor seems to be broken on DCS-2132LB1. I can manually change from night mode to day mode, but on auto it always goes to night mode (black and white).
