We are looking for a designer who is interested in getting in on the ground floor of a growing company that has clients across the United States. The Designer will work closely with senior designers to generate concept and fabrication documents to be used by our in-house fabrication and installation teams. Job Description: Provide designs and renders for structures proposed to clients Generate fabrication and construction documents to be used by in-house shop and vendors Work with structural engineers to verify design integrity Support shop during construction phase of projects Support field teams during the installation process by providing design guidance and quick turnaround solutions. Requirements: 3-5 years experience generating 3D concepts drawings and 2D Fabrication drawings. High level understanding of Rhino, Sketch-up or equivalent design software packages. 3-5 years of Hands-On Construction/Fabrication Experience Experience working with various material, wood, metal, glass, etc Experience managing vendors Fluent using Google Apps and Slack Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively Positive attitude Open to experiencing the highs and lows of a small but quickly growing organization.
