Stearman lower wing was pulled from Concord Ca. Airmail hangar by me and a former mechanic who originally had worked there in late 20’s to early 30’s. I had met him several years before and he would tell me stories about his time working there. Sometime in middle 80’s I got a call telling me that the old hangar was coming down soon and we need to get over there and get this wing down which was up high on the back wall. After the airfield was closed for airmail use in the 30’s it remained an emergency airfield. So not sure exactly when this wing was removed and most likely replaced with a replacement because of some leading edge damage. Here’s the link to the website for more information on the original Concord Airfield: https://www.airfields-freeman.com/CA/Airfields_CA_Oakland.htm#concordorig It’s been hanging up in our garage since 1999. Asking $3500
Also have 1930’s 90” Hartzell 8 lug wood prop. Was purchased by my former boss at a Dallas Tx. Museum while on a business trip. Purchased 2 propellers and was asked to restore one to be displayed in the Ready Room at Concord Jet Service at Buchanan Field in Concord Ca. I think that one is a Sensenich, As far as I know it still there. I was given the other one. Museum curator said they came from a Bamboo Bomber AT series trainer and there was a connection to the tv show Sky King and the autograph photo was included with the purchase. Asking $3000
