You can learn about horses or get back to being around these amazing creatures here at our beautiful ranch location in Prunedale. Our dedicated group is looking for additional volunteers to fill a once-a-week a.m. or p.m. shift to feed, clean up after, and groom (if desired and once trained). We are part of a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing, adopting out, and caring for horses that would otherwise face a scary and uncertain future. These noble animals will teach you much about non-verbal communication and body language. No experience is needed; rather, just a willingness to learn best practices.
We do not take in unwanted horses directly.
