Part-Time Help Needed for Alternative Medical Practice in Nevada City A progressive, forward-thinking Naturopathic and homeopathic alternative medical practice is seeking an enthusiastic front office individual to join our small team. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping others improve their well-being through natural therapies, eager to create positive, upbeat interactions, and has experience with medical practice operations. If you thrive on assisting doctors in supporting their patients, this position may be a great fit for you! Key Responsibilities: Patient Interactions: Answer phone calls, return necessary calls, and call patients to remind them of upcoming visits. Ensure professional and efficient interactions that allow the doctor to focus on the medical aspects of care. Administrative Duties: Handle basic computer tasks, manage patient records, schedule appointments, and interact with websites and other forms of communication with patients. Inventory Management: Order products, maintain inventory levels, unpack deliveries, and prepare packages for patient shipments. Financial Transactions: Process payments and credit card transactions, update patient records, process insurance claims, and balance daily activity. Facility Maintenance: Perform light cleaning duties and maintain a clean, welcoming waiting area. Compensation: Based on experience.
