Whether you have a history of opioid use disorder (OUD) and are currently abstinent, in treatment with buprenorphine or methadone, or have NO history of any drug use, you may qualify! If you are between 21 and 65 years of age, willing to fast for at least 6 hours prior to the study session (no food and only water) and participate in a behavioral study using pictures and scents, you could qualify for our SPC study #19-DA-N019 at the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) in Baltimore, Maryland. The purpose of this study at the National Institute on Drug Abuse is to see whether performance in a learning task differs between people who have opioid use disorder and people who don’t. This study includes one visit to NIDA and two follow-up phone calls with the study staff. Qualified participants will receive up to $120 in compensation for their time, and travel is provided.
