Corgis, kilts clans, cabers and more at the Michigan Celtic Festival July 11,12 in Ann Arbor Festival Friday, starting at 5 PM, will feature music from Ironwood, Brother Crowe and Wakefire; and also features music and dance workshops, cricket, Mr. Pretty Legs competition, Bodtker Ironworks, Jeric Studios Glassworks, Iron Bear Carvings, Celtic breeds, and a Ring of Steel fire show. Saturday’s all day festival features Celtic sounds of Crossbow, Brother Crowe, Wakefire, Ironwood, Shannon Lee, Roane, and Saline Fiddlers Philharmonic. Saturday will also showcase Highland athletics; pipe and drum bands; Ring of Steel Cirque Surya and fire show; re-enactments; Highland dance; hurling; whisker wars; Wee Folks fun; clans; sheepherding demonstrations; music and dance workshops; and much more. The very popular Corgi races will also feature a Little Legs Challenge between the winning Corgi and the winning Dachshund from last year’s Oktoberfest in Saline! Fun and Free Passes! Volunteer 3 hours during Festival week to help with set up, and/or on festival day, and get 2 free Festival passes!
