($) Seeking Participants for Study in Leadership and Decision-Making - Pittsburgh

The study's main purpose is to examine how leadership qualities and cooperation affect a group's performance. If you desire to participate, you will engage in a series of surveys, social interactions, and brief verbal tasks with other participants in an in-person lab visit. In addition to the interactive tasks and surveys, we will collect several non-invasive heart-rate and blood-pressure measurements during the experiment. Before this in-person visit, you will be asked to complete a pre-session survey, which should take you no longer than 5 minutes to complete. You must complete this questionnaire before the study session to participate in the lab visit. You will be asked to answer questions regarding background information (sociodemographic, interpersonal experiences, and social perceptions). You will receive this pre-session survey 48 hours before your lab visit. Participants should be over 18 years old, do not have a cardiovascular disease, and be proficient/fluent in English. The study will take place at Carnegie Mellon University in Baker Hall (4909 Frew St). It should take approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes to complete, and you will be compensated $20 for your participation.
