Position: Accounts Payable / Admin Assistant Location: Gardena, CA Type: Part-Time/Full-Time ABOUT US: We are an established and growing industrial painting company located in Gardena, CA. We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable / Admin assistant to help us grow. DETAILS: This is an on-site job, approx 20-30 hours a week per week. Starting time is noon-1pm, ending time is 5pm. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: - Enter and manage vendor bills - Perform accounts receivable and accounts payable tasks - Support month-end closing and general ledger accuracy - Maintain organized records and ensure data integrity - Perform other accounting/admin duties as assigned based on accounting department deadlines QUALIFICATIONS: - Strong work ethic, taking ownership for the responsibilities and ensuring accuracy - Strong computer proficiency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook and ability to learn new computer applications - Ability and desire to learn quickly - Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision - Detail-oriented and passion for getting the details right - Mentality that no job is too big or too small - Strong English speaking and writing skills - Excellent customer service, with vendors, customers, and employees - Strong time management and organizational skills - Flexibility: ability to adapt to changing priorities in our fast-paced environment REQUIREMENTS: - Pass a background check & drug screening (includes marijuana) - Bilingual (English & Spanish) a plus - or a willingness to learn! - Be punctual & Work with all members of the team HOW TO APPLY: Please send your resume, a brief cover letter highlighting your relevant experience, and references. website: http://www.arenapainting.biz
