We partner with a wide variety of industries in North America including Special Events, Production, Audio Visual, Lighting, Hospitality, Apparel, and more. We’re seeking a full-time Bookkeeper to oversee day-to-day financial operations. This is a key role that ensures accurate financial records, manages cash flow, and supports the overall health of the business. You’ll be responsible for accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, vendor payments, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, trustworthy, and highly organized. Opportunities for advancement is available. **Please note: This is a full-time, in-office position, 5 days per week. Our office is conveniently located in the Garment District, near Herald Square, Penn Station, and the PATH train. Bookkeeper will be responsible for: Accounts Receivable and Payable, including customer invoicing and collections Entering and categorizing all financial transactions in QuickBooks. QuickBooks current experience is a must. Processing vendor payments via checks, ACH, and international wires; maintain vendor records and track deposits Processing payroll biweekly using Gusto, including PTO tracking and payroll journal entries Reconciling bank accounts, credit card statements, and vendor/customer balances Monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes and internal reporting Coordinating with CPA or external accountant on tax filings, 1099s, and financial audits Assisting with budgeting, cash flow tracking, and financial forecasting Maintaining organized digital and physical financial records in compliance with internal controls Responding to internal and external inquiries related to billing, payments, or vendor issues What You'll Bring: 4+ years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop - Mandatory Familiarity with Gusto or similar payroll software.
