Fleetwood Industrial Products is seeking a Pump Mechanic/Machinist for our pump repair shop in Easton, PA. FIP is an employee owned company that has been a supplier of components for rotating equipment since 1986. Fleetwood’s Easton location focuses on repairing rotating equipment, primarily pumps, as well as new assemblies. Previous experience with pumps or machining is preferred for this position. Qualifications; • Candidate must have mechanical experience, mechanical curiosity and a strong work ethic • Driver's License (Required) Duties and Responsibilities; • Inspecting, disassembling and repairing various style pumps, motors, and gearboxes • Taking apart equipment with close attention to detail • Evaluating and writing down work scopes and parts lists for repairs • Assisting on Field Service jobs • Good interaction with customers • Ability to work well with others • Ability to read blueprints • A strong work ethic • Performing related duties as assigned Preferred skills but not required; • Ability to operate a manual lathe/mill • Fabrication skills with steel • Welding experience • Painting experience • Basic knowledge of pumps and motors Schedule: • 8 hours shift • Monday to Friday • Overtime Benefits include; • Vacation/Personal time • Health Care, Life and Disability Insurance • Health savings account • 401K plan Please submit resumes to Josh at Jnovack@fipinc.net https://www.fipinc.net/
