Hair or Nail Artist
ALIBI Collective is a shared salon studio for independent artists (hair, nails, brows/lashes, cosmetic tattoos), rooted in autonomy and care. We’re queer-friendly, artist-led, and housed in a 100-year-old home in downtown Raleigh. We’re not a salon hiring employees. We don’t provide clients. Every artist at ALIBI runs their own business — fully. That means you bring and manage your own clientele, set your prices, and shape your own path. ALIBI is the space — you are the artist. A thoughtful salon space to grow what’s already yours alongside other artists. We’re currently opening up one downstairs chair to an independent hair stylist or nail artist who’s ready for that level of ownership — and excited to be part of a vibrant, intentional collective of creatives doing it their own way. The Space: • Approx. 7x7 ft chair station (54 sq ft) • 10-ft ceilings, wood floors, lots of natural light • Located on the first floor • Open floor plan/no partitions (yet) — privacy dividers in progress • Clean, design-forward aesthetic with flexibility for your setup Included Amenities: • Wall mirror + stylist chair • Utilities + Wi-Fi • Shampoo room access (for hair stylists) • Waiting area for clients • Full bathroom • Shared laundry + kitchen area • Storage cabinet • Artist support: you'll be featured on our website & included in house communications & collective events/campaigns Rental Options: • $275/week or $1100/month • Occasional daily rental may be possible — inquire to discuss • Flexible lease terms We’re looking for: A passionate, self-directed beauty professional who considers themself an artist. Someone who takes pride in their independence but wants to be in community. A creative thinker who values integrity, intention, and aesthetic clarity.
