NRC Research Institute, with locations in Orange and Los Angeles, CA is currently enrolling patients into our paid research studies. We are seeking participants with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). Our clinical trial is looking at the possibility of finding a new medication that could be safer and more effective than what is currently available. OCD occurs when a person gets caught in a cycle of obsessions and compulsions. Obsessions are unwanted, intrusive thoughts, images, or urges that trigger intensely distressing feelings. Compulsions are behaviors an individual engages in to attempt to get rid of the obsessions and/or decrease his or her distress. Some of the symptoms may include: -Recurring thoughts, urges, or images in your mind that are unwanted. -Behaviors or mental acts you feel driven to perform in response to recurring thoughts/images/urges -Having a rigid set of rules or routines that need to be followed or else anxiety emerges.
