Position Summary: iCrash Collision, a division of Kniesel’s Collision, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Experienced Journeyman Body Technician to join our high-performing team. As a key contributor in our state-of-the-art facility, you will perform quality structural and non-structural repairs on all makes and models in accordance with OEM standards and Kniesel’s Collision best practices. With a commitment to craftsmanship, safety, and efficiency, you will be responsible for restoring vehicles to pre-accident condition while upholding our reputation for integrity and excellence. This role requires a high level of technical ability, problem-solving, and collaboration with estimators, painters, and other team members to ensure seamless workflow and customer satisfaction. Position Available: Auto Body Technician Location: iCrash Collision – a Kniesel’s Company 3725 Cincinnati Ave., Suite 200, Rocklin, CA 95765 Key Responsibilities: Perform advanced body repairs including metal finishing, panel replacement, welding, and frame/unibody alignment per OEM procedures and Kniesel’s approved methods. Disassemble and reassemble vehicles efficiently with detailed documentation of hidden damage and supplement needs. Conduct thorough damage assessments to support Account Managers in creating accurate repair plans. Communicate effectively with Account Managers and Parts Associates to ensure the timely acquisition of parts. Follow repair orders and Kniesel’s QC SOP to meet quality expectations and minimize the need for supplements. Remove and properly store vehicle parts to prevent damage or loss during the repair process. Repair or replace damaged components using hand and power tools, including sanding, grinding, and filing as needed. Inspect and test-drive completed repairs to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and Kniesel’s standards. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with Kniesel’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Participate in ongoing training and continuous improvement initiatives. Adhere to all Kniesel’s Collision policies, procedures, and Core Values. Comply with federal, state, and local regulations, including OSHA standards and hazardous waste disposal guidelines. Provide leadership and support to apprentices and assist teammates as needed. Perform additional duties as assigned, including shop upkeep and cross-functional team support. Skill/Requirements: Must be able to read English fluently. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must have a valid driver’s license. Ability to multi-task and adapt to a fast-paced environment. Ability to effectively communicate with others. Ability to read and understand instructions on written estimates, work orders, and SOPs. Ability to lift and move boxes or parts up to 20 pounds. Maintains a well-groomed, professional appearance.
