At Online Optimism, our Specialist program was crafted to be the leading program for college students and recent grads to build a future career in marketing or design. We see it as the last internship you’ll ever do. Overview of our Specialist Program: 25 – 40 hours per week between 9-5, M-F. $17 / Hour. Happy to work with you to get college credit if still in school. Work on real projects with our full-time staff, for both our clients and Online Optimism itself. Job Responsibilities Depending on your strengths, you may develop skills in: Planning and coordinating the creation of short form videos. Filming short form videos for social media. Editing videos using a variety of tools. Trend research within social media. What Are Some Features of Our Specialist Program? In addition, when your department director attends networking events and educational lunches, we’ll be sending you as well, ticket included. A majority of our full-time team started at Online Optimism as Specialists, and many of our Specialists go on to work at some of the top digital marketing agencies around. Bettering Our Community As part of our efforts to educate, inform, and improve our work, our Optimists often attend networking and educational events. We believe this need extends to our Specialists as well. While you are a Specialist at Online Optimism, you'll also take a training program related to diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace.
