Now Hiring: Part-Time Evening Security Guards Location: Silver Spring & Landover, MD Shift Hours: Starting between 5:00 PM and 4:00 AM Overview Security One Source is seeking vigilant and reliable Part-Time Security Guards to join our growing team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for clients, staff, and the public during evening and overnight shifts. Applicants must be able to pass a background check required by the governing agency. Duties • Enforce company and client security policies to prevent theft, loss, and property damage. • Respond quickly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies; administer basic First Aid or CPR if needed. • De-escalate conflicts and manage incidents with professionalism. • Inspect buildings and grounds for safety hazards or security breaches. • Cooperate with law enforcement and provide accurate incident documentation. • Maintain clear, timely logs of activities and observations. Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent required. • Must have no criminal record and pass a background check. • Prior security experience or related field preferred.
