Sandblaster & CNC Cut Table Operator
TowHaul Corporation, a leading manufacturer of off-road mining equipment, is currently seeking a Sandblaster & CNC Cut Table Operator. This dual role will be 40% sandblasting and 60% cut table operation. Primary responsibilities include sandblasting mill scale from steel plate and assisting with all CNC cutting operations. Responsibilities (include but are not limited to) Operate sandblasting equipment to remove mill scale from steel plate and assemblies Adjust equipment as necessary to perform efficient and proper blasting Perform preventative maintenance procedures for blast and recovery systems Operate plasma & oxy fuel cutting table Assist with loading and unloading cut table Label and sort cut parts Help with staging of steel plate for upcoming programs Process & unload steel deliveries Organize and label steel plate in the storage yard Clean cutting table trays Actively maintain a clean & safe work area Required Skills Mechanical and technical aptitude The ability to work in all weather conditions Team player, detail oriented, flexible and able to work with minimal supervision Success Factors Safety first mindset and attitude Positive attitude and teamwork are crucial Adaptable, flexible, dependable, and trustworthy Strong initiative and ability to work with minimum supervision Practiced at critical thinking, decision making and problem solving Must be able to work overtime on occasion and be flexible with work schedule Safe & efficient forklift & overhead crane operation Ability to follow instruction Attention to detail Physical demands and work environment The physical demands and work environment described here are typical, however not intended to be all-inclusive and are subject to change per the environment.
