$500 for those asked to participate and only after completion of the required panel discussion on August 16 & 17.
Seeking people that are 20-45 years of age to participate in panel interviews (about 45 minutes each) in front of a friendly local church congregation during weekend services. We are looking for adults who would NOT call themselves Christians (or are, at least, unsure). Must reside in the greater Wichita area and provide their own transportation. Must be articulate and comfortable communicating in front of a church congregation. Must be willing to share any past negative (or positive) experiences attending church services or interacting with Christians regarding spiritual matters/faith issues. Must have an open attitude, willing to explore Christianity and spiritual issues with others who are also open. A faith survey will be required to be completed along with a video interview in advance to qualify as a participant in this paid opportunity. Futher details will be provided during this initial interview. NOTE: some additional interviews may be necessary to determine your participation in the panel discussion. Must be available to meet with the other panel members as a group to prepare in advance for the live panel discussion. You must be available on all of the following times: Wednesday August 6th and Thursday, August 14th in the evening; Saturday, August 16th from 3:45-6:00 pm; and Sunday, August 17th from 8:00-11:30 am. Pay rate: $500 paid per person. NOTE: payments are only for those that have been given a formal invitation to participate in the panel discussion, and only for those who complete the required panel discussions on the weekend of Saturday & Sunday, August 16 & 17. Each participant will be treated with respect and unconditional acceptance throughout the whole process. The panel will not be a debate, we simply want to invite you and a few others to tell your stories about attending church services and interacting with Christians so that our church audience may learn from your experiences.
