SERVICES:
I offer copy editing and content editing* for fiction, creative non-fiction, catalogs, and more. I read for accuracy, and I’m time conscious.
*Content editing concentrates on style and usage along with grammar. It also involves checking for factual errors, inconsistencies, and contradictions, as well as focusing on tone and development, among other things.
For businesses, I can assist with many kinds of business writing projects including manuals, web site content, newsletters, and more.
For individuals and businesses, I can write and/or edit blog posts of any length.
RATES:
Copy editing and proofreading: $15 an hour (est. pace: 5-8 pgs/hr)
Content editing: $25 an hour (est. pace: 2-5 pgs/hr)
Content editing for work of a technical nature: $45 an hour
For certain business related projects, the base rate is $50 an hour
