Greeting all, For sale is a classic, legacy PowerMac G4 800 DP (QuickSilver) in excellent condition. The original owner was the University of Michigan School of Music, lightly used in a smoke-free environment. I received this unit from a broker for a swap some time ago, and has since continued to be lightly used in the same quality environment. The OEM custom configuration sports a Dual-G4 800MHz CPU, the 64 Mb ATI Radeon 8500 card with ADC and DVI-I ports, an Airport network card, an Apple OEM 56k modem, and 1 Gb of RAM. The unit also has an upgraded 4x DVD “super drive” and A ZIP-100 drive. The original ATA hard drive was replaced with a newer 80Gb Seagate Barracuda IV ATA-133 hard drive at 7200 rpm, all running, hands down, the best expression of Mac OS 9.2 that I ever had. The sale will also include a back-up OS 9.2 installation on an external MacAlly Firewire enclosure housing a 64 Gb SSD: boot up externally to clean the OS hard drive with Tech Tool Pro 3 (included). Purchase will include all of this PLUS an Acer 19” flat panel display that plays nice, clear and sharp with the ATI graphics, an Apple matching keyboard, Apple Pro mouse, USB extension cable, G-Tech ADC-VGA adapter, power cords, AND a set of the Apple Pro Harmon Kardon digital speakers.
