Hello!
We’re a Chicago-based noise/post-punk band called The Living Head looking for a guitar player who is also down to play keys and sampler as needed. We practice 1 - 2 times a week at Treehouse Records Studio (usually Wednesdays) and we’re happy to provide equipment if necessary! Guitar experience is important, but the keyboard parts are super simple.
We’ve played 7 shows so far and we have another one scheduled at Burlington Bar on August 20th. Looking for someone cool who is able to learn songs fairly quickly. Our influences include Sonic Youth, Brainiac, Gilla Band, SPIRIT OF THE BEEHIVE, and Sprain. We have some releases on streaming platforms and some videos of us performing below:
