Chaotic Concessions is seeking Festival Food Service Workers to become an integral part of our team at FairWell! Accepted candidates will be asked to work at least six hours each day of the festival either cashiering, doing food prep and/or assembly, cooking/ grilling/ frying, or selling food to patrons. The festival will take place at the Deschutes County Fair & Expo Center from July 18-19, 2025 (https://www.fairwellfestival.com/) Responsibilities Range: · Taking orders & running POS tablets · Explain to guests about menu items · Food assembly · Set up vendor tent prior to service · Serve food and beverages to guests · Cook/ Grill/ Fry food for service · Help prep food · Clean up and breakdown at the end of the event · Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: · Food & beverage experience is a must! · Worked on a flattop grill, fryer, and/or burner ranges, especially in an high volume environment? Let's talk. · Have you hosted, served tables, and/or bartended? You're so qualified. ***A giant plus is experience with concessions, festivals, food trucks, or at sports arenas. Very Useful Personal Abilities: · To be able to build rapport with guests. · To thrive in a fast-paced environment. · To think on your feet. · To work with teammates that you just met. · To step up into different positions when needed. · To handle crowds of hungry festival goers. · To keep the good vibes going amongst your teammates. While we are looking for individuals to work a minimum of 6-hour shifts for all the days of the festival (see dates above). More than likely, we will need you for more than 6 hours. You will also be able to enjoy the festival while not working, get free food before or after your shift, and other perks. The dress code is casual, but don't wear your favorite outfit, as you will most likely get a little dirty (closed toed shoes are the only must). Pay is based on experience + hours worked and ranges between $18 - $20 per hour. Who Are We?
