This bike was a project we did about 6 years ago, and has been on display in our showroom. We are trying to put some new vintage bikes on display and need the space, so have decided to sell this one. Here is a brief description of the work we recall doing to it several years ago: If you are Suzuki nut like we are, the first thing you've probably noticed is we said this was a 1972 model, but it appears to be sporting 1971 colors. That's awesome if you noticed before I told you. :-) Reason is simple...when we did the work on this bike, we have a newly repainted 71 Paul Miller body set on hand...but didn't have a 72 set. And we think the teal and white looks awesome. Suzuki used IRC tires in the 70's and we have a large stock of NOS IRC tires, so the rear is a correct new old stock IRC and the front was a new Duro in vintage tread (new tubes as well). Some other new parts include the chrome gas cap, correct pattern seat cover, front fork boots...also I believe all the badging is new, as well as the airbox rubber boot. The cylinders and heads were removed and vaporblasted (this gives them that brand new look). It's very likely we did fresh pistons and rings at the same time, but I don't recall for certain. Also, it likely has many other new parts that I can't recall for certain so no promises, but likely things like air filter, points/condensors, plugs, etc were done. When it was put on display, it was properly stored (carbs drained, tank drained and oiled, battery removed, etc). So when we recently brought it back to life, it didn't take much. Some fresh No-Ethanol 92 octane fuel, and a new battery, and it fired right up. If you haven't already, we did a Youtube video of this bike. Check it out at the link above. It has a clean clear title in our name. Now all that said....please keep in mind this vintage motorcycle is over 50 years old. It is a machine, and it is an old machine. It very possibly could break or something could go wrong as soon as you get it home. We hope that doesn't happen, and we go over these vintage machines to locate any issues before they leave...but they are old motorcycles. You must know your way around a toolbox if you plan to own a smoky oily 2 stroke 50+ year old motorcycle. We prefer you come look at the bike in person yourself before purchasing, but if not feasible, we can happily send extra pictures of whatever you'd like to see.
