Limited Edition 2011 Vintage Sunburst Epiphone Casino 61 Reissue 50th Anniversary. This is a wonderful guitar that is Super Mint and has Hardly been played. Gibson USA pickups and electronics come stock in these.
Just set up at Woodsongs with 11’s. Great action! Light weight with resonant tone. Full hollowbody guitar- no center block. Nice woody, acoustic sound. Plays very easy with wonderful tones, clean or dirty. You can play Jazz to Blues to Folk to Rock on this. Also has a fantastic acoustic sound when not plugged in. Nice medium C neck with a gorgeous Rosewood board! This is lovely guitar in every way.
I have owned a couple of standard Casino’s as well as a Casino Coupe. The build quality is well above on this 61. Its quality and design are very similar to a Gibson es330, which I have owned and they sell for $3,500. It seems like when it comes to hollow bodies or semi hollow, you have $500 guitars and then $3000 guitars. There’s not much in the middle in terms of quality and price point. This guitar does fit that nitch. This Casino is a great high-end built hollowbody for a reasonable price.
Looking on Reverb, the cheapest one I could find, is $1285 with shipping. Here is a YouTube with specs/tones. https://youtu.be/AiVso6Guxys?si=EtHXLWKZ3g6uQCmL
