Rainier Case Management, Inc. is currently hiring a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor Intern (VRC-I) and/or experienced Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor (VRC) for our Yakima and Kennewick offices to serve South Central Washington. VRC-I and VRC assist injured workers/disabled individuals in providing vocational rehabilitation services; interviews and evaluates the clients to determine degree of disability, eligibility for services and feasibility of vocational rehabilitation. Will also provide related case/disability management services to employers, insurance companies and individual clients. May provide career guidance/evaluation services to employers, agencies, or individual clients. VRC-I Requirements include bachelor's degree and a willingness to complete 2-year intern process (for a master’s degree, completion of a one-year internship). VRC-I will be required to obtain a Certified Disability Management Specialist (CDMS) or Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) certification to finish the internship and become a vocational rehabilitation counselor in order to work with State Fund claims with Department of Labor & Industries. VRC Requirements include bachelor's degree and CDMS and/or CRC. Master’s level education may be required for some referral sources’ work. Language fluency with English and Spanish highly desired.
