Cordovan Art School is looking for experienced pottery instructors to teach wheel throwing and clay hand-building classes during our Summer 2025 Session! If you're passionate about ceramics and enjoy working with kids, teens, and adults in a creative, supportive environment, weβd love to meet you. Who Weβre Looking For: π Proficient in wheel throwing and low-fire clay hand building π Positive attitude β a must! π£οΈ Strong communication skills with kids, teens, and adults π Previous teaching experience preferred π Available for weekday summer camps (mornings, afternoons, or both) π Open to teaching after-school and occasional weekend classes Schedule & Details: β’ Part-time, contract position β’ $22β$25 per teaching hour Teachers are expected to arrive 15 minutes before camp starts and stay a short time after for cleanup, so typical shifts are scheduled as: β’ Morning shift: 8:45 AM β 12:15 PM β’ Afternoon shift: 12:45 PM β 4:15 PM β’ Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend opportunities β’ Expected hours: 15β35 per week To Apply: Please email your resume and photos of your pottery or ceramic work to: π§ swaustin@cordovanartschool.com Letβs make this a summer full of clay, creativity, and community β join the team at Cordovan Art School!
