The 2025 boats shows are about to begin. When looking at the used boat market often times there is a delivery involved to get your new vessel to her home port or relocating your trade in vessel to the dealer.
Possibly you sold your current boat to someone from a different area and they need help getting her home. If you are new to boating or are considering a much larger vessel your insurance company may require you to get experience with a professional Captain on board.

I am a mature, dependable 100-ton USCG licensed Captain. While based in New Jersey, I am experienced from New England to USVI and Mexico.
Member of APCA drug consortium, a pre hire and random test program and I am a nonsmoker.
I have an FCC marine radio operators permit and a US Passport.
Additional experienced, drug tested, nonsmoking crew available as required.
DELIVERY
As a boat owner myself I understand the apprehension when giving one of your most prized possessions to a stranger's care. We do everything we can to make your delivery as stress free as possible by multiple daily communications through text, email and phone calls to keep you fully informed of every aspect of the delivery.
Every delivery gets a fully developed multi optioned plan before we leave the dock because mother nature, safety, seamanship and good judgment ultimately decides our routes, schedule and port of call each day and we need to be prepared for any contingency. This information as well as boat condition, performance and any other relevant information will be reported to you ASAP.
If you accompany me on the delivery, I will explain my daily plan and why. We will work as a team and discuss the various options and the pros and cons of each.

More and more today I get calls from buyers saying their insurance carrier want a licensed captain to sign off on the buyers' skills either because they are new to boating or they are buying a larger boat than they are experienced on. This is something I can help with either by you accompanying me on the delivery or with dedicated training and practical demonstration of your skills.
