Hello, I'm Stephen Carrington; I have been playing guitar since 1987, and I am ready to teach you! I teach all ages, all skill levels, and all musical styles, but my specialties are rock and blues (along with metal, country, pop, jazz, and anything in between). For in-person lessons I'm based in Marietta/East Cobb (just outside of Atlanta), but I'm proud to also offer lessons to almost anywhere* that the internet and your computer can reach, using a specific program and setup that makes it almost like being there in person (and way better than just watching videos on the web). Plus, if you have headphones we can make it even more immersive—you've never experienced online lessons like this before!
* Online lessons tend to work best the closer we are geographically; most places in the continental U.S. should be fine, though, as long as the internet connection (preferably via Ethernet cable rather than wi-fi) is suitable.

My normal lessons hours are from 2:30-9:30pm Monday through Thursday, from 2:30-8:15pm on Fridays, and from 12:00-5:45pm on Saturdays (all times Eastern). I respond to calls/emails/texts/etc between the hours of 9:00am-10:00pm, 7 days a week (when I'm not in a lesson or otherwise unavailable, of course!).
I give every student a personalized, one-on-one lesson (no group lessons), focusing on what they need to do to achieve whatever musical goals they have for themselves. I don't schedule lessons back-to-back, but always with a "buffer" period between lessons; that way I can properly finish any lesson, particularly if the student is having a breakthrough right when the scheduled lesson time is up, and still be able to properly prepare for the next lesson. I concentrate on each student and their individual progress, not on getting one student’s lesson wrapped up so I can move on to the next one.
I'm also an authorized dealer for Dunlop accessories (including their Cry Baby, MXR, and other product lines), Stringjoy strings, McPherson guitar picks, Gator cases, Levy's guitar straps, Hal Leonard (as well as all instrument and equipment brands they carry), String Swing, and many more; that means that I can offer my students exclusive pricing on things that every guitar player needs--things like strings, picks, effects pedals, cleaning and maintenance supplies, stands, cables, cases, and tons of other gear. Everything I sell is brand new and fully warrantied (where applicable), just like you would get with any authorized dealer...it's just that I'll have the best prices on pretty much everything, exclusively for my students.

REGULAR RATES FOR PREMIUM GUITAR LESSONS:
The standard rate for a single guitar lesson, whether online or in person, is currently $55 per lesson; each type of lesson is 45 minutes long. I offer substantial discounts over most of my competitors' rates with the package rates listed below.
