If Tinder or Bumble aren’t your buzz then you are in luck; there is a new way to meet like-minded individuals in Dublin. Soiree, a Dublin based company, was set up by mother and son duo Louise and James Byrne after Louise was made a widower at just 63 and James had recently recovered from pancreatic cancer.
Aimed at those of us over 30, Soiree arranges intimate dinner dates for boutique groups of 12 in some of Dublin’s top restaurants including Luna, Pichet, The Cliff Townhouse and Dublin’s newest edition, The Ivy. James works closely with the chefs of these restaurants prior to the date to create a custom menu, weaving in some aphrodisiac foods in there too. As James says himself, “What better way to live life than to help people find each other through a mutual love of great food?”.
Those interested can sign up via Soiree’s website, soireeireland.ie, it is free to join and once you are registered, you will be invited to attend a dinner party best suited to you. Those who sign up are matched based on ambitions, orientations and taste buds.
Soiree has kindly given us two tickets to give away for their next evening, this Wednesday the 3rd October in Luna Dublin. Just enter your details below to win!
