The Taste of Dublin is Back and Bigger Than Ever

And includes the butcher... The baker... The cocktail maker!

Ireland’s favourite gastronomical event Taste of Dublin is back and it is bigger than ever with over 25 world class chefs, 20 top restaurants and 120 masterclasses announced today. Opting for a whimsical theme, this year they are transforming the event into a ‘Food Lover’s Playground’ inspired by Neff. The Taste of Dublin’s restaurants and sponsors have really embraced the spirit of this year’s theme, concocting inspiring ideas worthy of its title. Think sipping on a cocktail on the top floor of a wooden tram or an entire menu made up of food in varying shades of pink!

This is the first year that the event will play host to an array of exciting new features from their biggest ever demo stage which will host The Neff Taste Kitchen where attendees will have the opportunity to watch culinary masters cook their favourite recipes. Expect to see experts such as Candice Brown of the Great British Bake Off, Adrian Martin, Edward Hayden, Anna Haugh and Aoife Noonan of Glovers Alley, Rachel Allen, Robin Gill and many more. These top chefs will share their tips and tricks to help the audience recreate their iconic dishes at home.

If cooking isn’t on top of your favourite things to do then you may want to check out The Lazy Basics where Simon Lamont will teach guests handy hacks in 20 minutes so that you can impress your friends and family at your next dinner party!

But food isn’t the only thing on the agenda this year; World Class, the world’s most prestigious mixology program has teamed up with Taste of Dublin to unveil the ultimate luxury drink experiences. Guests will have the chance to experience masterclasses, where they will be using the finest in luxury spirts to create fresh and innovative cocktails. For the first time, the World Class Bartender of the Year Competition will bring its Irish final to Taste of Dublin with the winner being crowned live at The Iveagh Gardens on Sunday the 17th.

Returning attractions include firm favorites such as the Daily Specials, which gives guests the chance to enjoy signature dishes from one restaurant per day, O Briens Wines will return with their tasting experience, the highly anticipated and much-loved Style Afternoon returns on Friday the 15th of June and Destination Thailand will transport guests to Thailand with traditional Thai cuisine and cocktails.

Taste of Dublin is a four-day event and runs from the 14th to the 17th of June hosted in The Iveagh Gardens. Tickets are from €15 and can be purchased from www.tasteofdublin.ie.
