October marks Breast Cancer Awareness Month around the world and so to honour the cause, we’re celebrating all things pink.

Every day in Ireland, 8 women are diagnosed with breast cancer. While much progress has been made in the treatment of the disease, over 700 women die each year as a result of breast cancer. This month, the Irish Cancer Society is urging people to help beat breast cancer by ‘Painting It Pink’.

For the month of October, individuals, clubs, schools and businesses can get involved and help raise awareness by hosting a pink-themed coffee morning or you can attend the annual ‘Lunch at The Shelbourne’ this Friday 6th October in aid of breast cancer research. For more information on the event, click here. You can also purchase the Pink Ribbon at Boots stores nationwide.

There are also a number of brands who have released limited edition products in support of breast cancer awareness this month such as Estée Lauder, Stella McCartney and ghd which you can shop below.

So show your support and paint it pink!
