March 13th, 2019
This St. Patrick’s Day, Kildare Village will turn green as part of the Global Greening initiative organised by Tourism Ireland. With the aim of encouraging people from all over the world to celebrate all things Irish, the campaign will see over 300 global landmarks lit up in green for the day including the Sydney Opera House, the Eiffel Tower, and Kildare Village.
Irish-themed activities will be taking place across the coming weekend as the Tourist Information Centre is transformed into a creative space for children with arts and crafts workshops and a live DJ. Workshops will run from 16th to 18th March between 11 am and 5 pm and are available on a first come first serve basis. For the adults, there will be delicious green food, from doughnuts to green juices, to savour and there will be a giant shamrock photo opportunity for all the family.
Guests can also enjoy an additional 10% off selected brands on the day when they sign up to become an exclusive Privilege member.
Along with Kildare Village, the rest of the Bicester Shopping Collection, from La Vallée Village in Paris to Shanghai Village in China, will also undergo makeovers for the day in celebration of Irish culture.
