Landing in stores and online today, 7th November, the long-awaited designer collaboration between Giambattista Valli and H&M is finally available to shop as of 9 am this morning.

Starring ruffles, tulle, dramatic silhouettes and oodles of embellishment, the collection is extravagant and avant-garde — and perfect for the upcoming party season. Whether you want to turn heads at an evening soirée or make an entrance at a New Year’s Eve ball, there’s a dress for every formal occasion.

Described as “an eclectic feast infused with feminity,” it is H&M’s most red carpet-worthy collection yet but of course, that should come as no surprise from the master of haute couture.

The final collection consists of 41 pieces for women, including signature multi-tier tulle gowns, intricate beadwork, beautiful embroidery, and accentuated waists. In the accessories range, you’ll find delicate floral-print silk and cashmere scarves, brass buckles and details moulded from the designer’s own lips, and — for the first time in H&M history — cultured freshwater pearl necklaces, bracelets and earrings.

As always with H&M’s designer collaborations, you’ll need to be quick if you want to get your hands on any of the limited pieces. The collection is available to shop in-store, however, only at H&M College Green, Dublin. Alternatively, if you want to opt-out of queuing outside in the rain, the full collection – including a handful of exclusive pieces — is available online at, or, you can shop our favourite, must-have pieces in the edit below.
