Marking the release of her new album, pop superstar Taylor Swift has joined forces with the superstar of sustainable fashion, Stella McCartney, for a collaborative collection of ready-to-wear clothes and accessories.
According to a post on the singer’s Instagram page, the #StellaxTaylorSwift collection is inspired by her upcoming album, Lover, and features some of her latest lyrics, as well as photos of her cat Benjamin Button.

The lookbook for the capsule collection was posted on Swift’s website earlier this week and showcases rainbow and tie-dye band T-shirts, sweatshirts, bomber jackets, hats and bags.
Speaking about the collaboration with McCartney, Swift said, “She’s been a friend for a really long time and just a woman that I respect so much.” “I respect what she creates, how she creates it and there’s so much whimsy and imagination and romance to the clothing that she designs.”
The entire range is produced in line with the designer’s standards of sustainability, meaning no fur or leather products, and instead focuses on eco-aware manufacturing processes, using organic and recycled materials.
The limited-edition collection will be unveiled in full later today via a YouTube Live presentation on Taylor Swift’s channel. The pieces will then be available to buy at a pop-up shop in New York City which opens tomorrow, 23rd of August—coinciding with the launch of Lover—, and runs until the 25th. The bomber jacket and bag will also be available for a limited time at Stella McCartney standalone stores. You can see more of our favourite pieces in the slideshow below.
