The House of Peroni is back with a new location and a fresh event lineup to get your creative juices flowing. Opening tomorrow July 5th and located at 130-133 St. Stephen’s Green, the home of Sprezzatura celebrating up and coming craftmanship and creativity across food, drink and fashion.
During the residency, The House of Peroni will be hosting a series of ticketed fashion led masterclasses, one hosted by Lorna Daly of When Poppy Met Daisy with a two-hour masterclass on Italian accessorizing. At her hands-on session, guests will learn about the power behind a properly tailored item, and how to personally make such alterations at home. Lessons on how to craft your own bespoke bowtie, scarf or pocket square are also on the agenda, including a complimentary Peroni Ambra or Peroni Nastro Azzurro Piccola to ease you into your lessons. Lorna’s masterclass will take place at 4 p.m. on both Saturday, July 7 and Saturday, July 14 at The House of Peroni Residency. Tickets are €25 (not including booking fee) per person and are 18+ only.
In addition, The House of Peroni will be hosting an exclusive fashion talk with Creative Council Member and international fashion designer, Jonathan Saunders. Joined by Irish-Italian stylist Aisling Farinella, the two will talk Saunders’ career, the ins-and-outs of the fashion industry and The House of Peroni’s competitive mentorship program.
In The House of Peroni’s mentorship program, a select Creative Council of fashion-industry leaders will support eight emerging designers over a course of eight months. Stacey Wall is the chosen Irish designer who will join The Fashion Studio in London after showcasing her work at The House of Peroni Dublin. Saunders is to be joined by Editor-in-Chief of Dazed and Confused, Isabella Burley; London fashion writer and stylist, Pandora Sykes; Editor of Another Magazine, Alexander Fury; and, Anna Orsini, Strategic Consultant on the British Fashion Council.
His talk will be held at The House of Peroni Residency Friday, July 13th at 2 p.m. Tickets are €15 (not including booking fee) and are 18+ only.
In addition to this, there will also be a panel talk with Irish-Italian fashion stylist and creative director, Aisling Farinella on the role of the stylist in creating images for fashion photography, music and commercial industries. Aisling Farinella will be interviewed about her career spanning 15 years as a stylist, sharing insider information about getting started and maintaining a career; how shoots come together and concepts are developed; working with celebrities, editors and diverse creative professionals. Guests will receive a Peroni Piccola or Peroni Ambra on arrival.
